Its like once you go natural you CANT go back.
I dunno, part of the beauty of natural hair is the freedom it provides. I think of my natural hair like my roundtoed boots - I love 'em and they look oh-so-cute on me. One day I might go back to my pointy toes (relaxed hair) and then come back to my round toes (natural hair).
I'm just having fun with ALL of it, and learning to love ALL of it in the process.
Random thoughts - sorry for the digression.
I don't think it's the "you can't go back". I think it's the "it takes AGES to grow it all back" that makes many people feel they won't go back. It's not easy. I BCed the first time and this time I'm not going to. It takes effort to transition and I honestly don't see myself making this "trip" again. If it was as simple as changing color I would say no biggie but it's not. *My* thing is the whole time spent gaining length back...makes it hard to do the flip/flop thing over and over. Some may not mind but I don't get 6" a year so I'm more careful now. Also depending onhow it affects a person's hair, you will get "can't go back" comments.MsNadi said:I have a question - why do we act like relaxed and natural are on two opposite sides of the spectrum in that you can't love them both?
