It is the best results that I have before and I love it. I think I will be airdrying from now on when I rollerset. what happend was I had to take lortab for the essure birth control procedure that I had to prepare for today and it made me feel so sick everytime I went under the dryer so after about five attemps I said forget it and I slep in the rollers over nite and I am so glad that I did because my hair came out so soft and silky and I love the results:grin: eventhough I felt like crap this morning when I went to get the procedure done :wallbash: but I'm glad everything went fine and I feel so much better now

thanks for sharing this...I often wondered how well a roller set would come out if I air dried my hair. I must try this:yep:.

Glad your hair came out nice... sorry your not feeling the best:sad:... grab yourself some r&r. Hope your feeling better soon.

Sorry you are not feeling well!!! When you do this fab roller set again we are gonna need to see some pics!!! :yep:

I noticed the exact same thing. Before I used to stay under the dryer until it was fully dry, but now I sit under my blow dryer attachment for about 30 mins and then go to sleep. I always have moisturized silky results. Before my hair would always be dry and not silky or bouncy.

airdry ponytail rollersets are the best. Since I can not manage to sleep in rollers, so I am in rollers all day long when I do it ... usually 3-6 hours. I let it airdry hanging loose for a while, then I put in the rollers. However, I have been doing rollersets under the dryer for the past couple of months on and off.

I love airdrying my rollersets and only go under the dryer if I am in a hurry. My hair's always soft and bouncy when airdried in rollers, love it!

good to know you feel better...

Thanks Ladies. I never get soft bouncy hair when I dry under the dryer with my rollersets I love the results I will be using this method unless I'm in a hurry.

Glad you are feeling better!!!!

I discovered this by accident also!!!!! I rollerset my hair and DH complained that I wasn't spending any time with him. So I ran all of his errands with him and I had a wet head filled with rollers. The next day, I took out my rollers and I had a beautiful rollerset that required no extra moisturizing.

I rarely sit under the dryer now.... :yep:

Air-dried roller sets are the best, but the only drawback is if you have long hair you'll be in rollers for days... I can't sleep with a head full of rollers either.

He didn't complain about the rollers in public? My hubby would freak out :nono:.

I am going to try this though. I dread sitting under the dryer unless I absolutely have too. I have yet to do a roller set and this gives me the push I need.

My problem is that my hair seems to take so long to dry. I've tried drying in rollers, but I wake up in the morning and my hair is still wet! :wallbash:

Yeah for you! I love air drying my roller sets!:yep: I do this all the time. Only drawback with my hair is that the curls only last about two days before they start looking wonky. If I use heat, the curls are tighter and I don't have to re-roll my hair as quickly.

When my hair was shorter I did this all the time. I think the reason the results are so good is because maximum moisture is retained and the tension of the rollers yeilds a smooth sealed hair cuticle.

Last week I sat under the dry for about 20 mins then air dryed the rest of the way. the curls were softer but they didnt seem to last as long.

I used to do airdried rollersets every week, and the results were soft, bouncy curls that last all week. Now that my hair is longer, I can no longer airdry exclusively, because my hair is still damp even if I leave the rollers in overnight. So, I give my hair a headstart on drying by sitting under a bonnet dryer for about an hour, then finish by airdrying.

My air dried rollersets look better when I'm not 9 plus weeks post. They always come out good though. I'm just too lazy to walk around with a wet head all day. AND I'm prone to getting sick all the time

Sure didn't. He doesn't care how I look as long as we spend quality time together. :drunk:

Congrats on your great results. Airdrying is helping me limit the use of direct heat on my hair. I airdry in a ponytail rollerset but can't comfortably sleep in the magnetic rollers. If my hair is not dry before I go to bed, I'll make sure my hair is at least 80% dry (using the soft bonnet dryer on cool if necessary) and then switch to satin foam rollers. I still get the same results as the magnetic rollers since my hair is almost dry and the curls have already taken shape.
