Actually, I do mine immediately after rinsing the relaxer. I do a five minute treatment and then neutralize. I say the sooner the better. You want to strengthen the hair after you've broken down the protein. At least that's what I do. Some veterans will come in soon to help I'm sure.
Did you do one during the relaxer process? If you did, do a light protein treatment on your next wash day followed by DC. If not do a hard protein treatment and DC.
