Just a quick question about braids

How soon after getting a relaxer should you wait before getting braids?

I just got a relaxer on Saturday and I am already itching to get braids....I know its too soon now but how long do I have to wait?????

At least a week or two. Your hair is still weak from the chemicals. Give it time to strengthen by deep condish and moisturizing. HTH

Used to wait about 2/3 weeks after a relaxer before putting in braids w/o any problems.
