I got mine a few weeks ago once I got layers and I love them...I just wish the humidity in Florida wouldn't wreck my curls!

I have some too but I am still trying to perfect using it. So I see serenity leaves hers on the steamer for 1 minute. Do all of you do the same? Also, do you steam the rollers with the caps on or off?

I think one minute is a bit excessive, at least for my hair. Mine get nice and hot in 5-7 seconds.

You may have mineral deposits blocking some of the steam. Have you tried adding a Tbs. of vinegar to the water and lettingit run for a few minutes?

I steam with the rollers off but you can also steam the caps seperately.

Can I use Caruso rollers on texlaxed blowdried hair? Will the steam make my hair revert? I would like to try this instead of flat ironing after blow drying. Actually it seems like I'll still have to flat iron, which is why right now I roll my hair instead of using heat three times.

I wash, blow dry (low heat) and flat iron with a bump to the ends. I roll it up, go to sleep and wake up to soft curls.

Are you guys blow drying your hair before using the caruso rollers.

Well nobody responded to my question but I went ahead and bought them anyways, they are just too appealing not to try out first. If it doesn't work out I'll return them and save my money. But thanks to you I got a $5 off coupon and $3 off the set anyways, with 30 rollers! I just think this was great. I ended up paying $30.00 plus I got a buy one get one free nail polish with $1.99 off!

It was crazy! All in 15 minutes at lunch

I'll let you guys know how these work by Monday. I plan to wash, deep condition and blow dry my hair tonight. I will have to use the MG to straighten it out completely since I'm only texlaxed. Then I'm going to use the rollers and see what happens. Ohmygosh! I'm looking forward to it!

I'm not sure how well it works on hair that it texlax. Maybe you should try a tiny amount of serum on each section before you roll it. Also remember to use end paper and heat the rollers for about 3-8 seconds instead of what the instructions say. I use Fantasia serum in the pink bottle, you can also try the Aveda anti-humectant. also do a search using Caruso and texlax, make sure you choose posts under the search category and that should give you all the posts that have the words Caruso and texlax.

The downside is that Caruso rollers do NOT work for my texlaxed hair. I looked....well it looked...um, let's just say BAD! I may give them away as a gift. They are so neat! It almost made me want to relax 100% instead of where I'm at 40% relaxed.
