Caruso Rollers and Natural Hair

Ladies I ran across a sista in the barber shop. She was telling me she uses Caruso Rollers in the morning to curl her hair. Are there any naturals using Caruso Rollers? I am wondering if the steam will make my natural hair revert back after being straightened?

I tried it once about a month ago,it didn't work. The curls didn't hold, and my hair poofed up some because of the steam, so now I have a box of caruso curlers sitting here gathering dust. I know MissScarlett uses it with great results. Success may boil down to hair type. Im mostly 4a. I think she may be in the 2 to 3 hair type range.

They made my hair frizz. I am a 4a/b. My hurr looked horrendous

I am going to pass then. I have mostly 4a with some 4b parts. I was concerned with the steam.
