I got them this morning and had to try them out, I love how soft my hair is, like it moisturized my ends:D :D

Opps couldnt put pick in post will be in my fotki!

Get ready to be addicted! ;) I use mine daily and, I swear, my hair just ain't the same without 'em.

Your hair looks so shiny and moist :scratchch: now you make me want to go get steam rollers....

Oh wow - your hair looks beautiful! I just got mine, too, but I've been too busy (and also scared :ohwell:) to take them out of the box. Would you mind answering a few questions --

1. Did you use any end papers?
2. Would you mind posting a pic with the rollers in your hair? (curious to see how you rolled them)
3. How long did the curls last? Did you need to use any hairspray?
4. How do you keep your hair so silky with those highlights? (I got highlights a year or two ago and my hair was dry as the Sahara!)

Looks good!

I also want to know how you keep your highlighted hair looking so silky. I got highlights they allll broke off.

bumping for answers!!!

Very nice! I am absolutely addicted to my Caruso's!! I finally have something to replace my curling iron:grin:

The steam rollers are no joke. I have been addicted to em for three years. I will say this once I left those curling irons alone my growth took off.

I dont know what I would do without them!! They are amazing. I did a review in my album a year ago with pics on setting. Feel free to check it out.

You can get them from Sally's. Each roller heats up in about a minuite. You roll the hair, and the steam evaporates in your hair and sets the curl. I leave mine in for about five min. What about you Tschizum?

Your hair came out nice! When I used mine, I'd sit at my vanity and roll my hair up first. Then put on my make-up. By the time I was finished the rollers would be cool. I'd take them out, comb my hair and go.

Your hair turned out great. I love the shine. I'm tempted to try these again, they didn't work well at all for me before. Maybe it's because my hair is natural.

I've used Carusos for about 5 years now. Since my personal no heat challenge I've been using them ONLY to curl my hair and it is growing and thickening up.

I didn't have time to sit under the dryer with my usual wet set so I wrapped it wet, half dried and went to bed. This morning I put the caruso's in (using all sizes) and let them dry while I got dressed. I have spirals that look like a wet set.

They are so convenient and safe to use mutliple times a day. I bought some replacement rollers on Ebay and probably should have ordered more. These are my favorite hair product.

I have some too but I am still trying to perfect using it. So I see serenity leaves hers on the steamer for 1 minute. Do all of you do the same? Also, do you steam the rollers with the caps on or off?

I'd love to give these a try, too. I'm still struggling with my rollersets.

Since this is basically steam instead of direct heat from a curling iron, are these safe to use every day without fear of breakage or dryness, assuming you're keeping your hair sufficiently moisturized?

I leave my rollers on the steamer for about 15 seconds or so. I really don't even count. I put the roller on the steamer, part my hair, gather my lock to roll, moisturize my ends, and squeeze the sponge to see if it's warm.... not wet, by this time it usually is so I just pick it up and roll.

It is VERY safe. Because I'm on a no heat (no direct heat) regime, I take my wraps down in the morning and throw a roller in here and there to touch up any crazy curls or just do an all over roller wrap style. Since it's humid and muggy, I'll come home and touch up again before bible study.

It's safe to use multiple times a day... although the curl lasts so long I can't imagine needing it that often.

I just got my Caruso roller last week and they are great. They are so easy to use. I just looked at all the other Caruso threads and found out to only leave them on the steam for 3-8 seconds depending on the size and use end papers.

^^Thanks, Ladies. You answered my questions.

Can anyone make an experienced comparison between Conair and the Caruso Steam Rollers? I've read the roller clip for these (below) are a little difficult to use, but the results are just as good. Which would you recommend?

I think the conair is just heat and so that would be just like using the curling iron everyday. The Caruso uses steam to set the curl instead of heat, so it adds moisture to the hair.

Sally's has a coupon right now for $3 off the Caruso set.

I got mine a few weeks ago once I got layers and I love them...I just wish the humidity in Florida wouldn't wreck my curls! :(

Your hair looks really, really good. Just recently started using my Caruso's and I like them a lot. I do use the covers that came with the set. I heat up the roller for like 7 seconds, I am amazed at how long the curls last. If anyone wears falls or wigs I heard they can also be used to reset fallen curls. I have not personally tried that yet though.
