How is it that our society that is so free with sex outside of marriage, yet it is so quick to use this same sexual freedom as a weapon against those in 'power'?

Is this not twisted worldly theology?

BTW: It's the end of the year and I'm purging my thoughts?

I'll break it down...

The same folks with the mindset that anything goes with sex outside of marriage, are the same folks that dig up the very same sexual exploits of others and use it against them publicly.

I mean, if sex outside of marriage is so okay with them, than why do they use it to smear someone who is in leadership?

What makes them think they can do this?

I understand Shimmie. I feel the same way.

We're sexually free so we can do whatever to whomever whenever we feel like it- according to the world. However when people who have titles or status do it and those activities come out, they are stoned. If it's good enough for the constituents/ membership/ the world, why not for those in office? Why do you hold them to a higher standard than you do yourself, or your children (boys will be boys...)?

Because to lead they need to have sound judgement and you convince me you have it when you are trying to break beds with someone you met last month.

Such a double standard. I call foul!

Alot of times, its not always sex outside..its the adultery thats get them.
Polictians play on the minds of people..They dig up the dirt that knows that will effect the person in leadership.They knew if they pull up a adultery thing, most women will automatically will be upset with that..


Also, when people are in office, they are looked up as to people who "should know better" , role models (not to me ) They are like a representation of the american people

Why do these men who have had 'affairs' still run for office, Knowing that the 'dirt diggers' are out there with bulldozers (sp?) to bury them in the dirt?

they think "I wont be that guy"..they must think they mistresses wont want to suffer the embarassment, but little do they know, these women wanna get paid$$$$$$$$$$$..I dont know if they think they have hidden it that no one would find it or what???

Also, it could be their lust has blinded them so bad that they are not even thinking of the consequences at all...just want to fulfill that lust...not caring on who they will hurt or effect..

That's true.

You know what? My dad once told me that 'men' choose their women; they choose women whom they think are too 'nice' to get back at them. In other words, too timid to fight or to be in the spotlight.

I guess these politicians aren't being so selective.

Candice, thank you, as I've just been wondering about this since last week.

It just seems to be on a high trend, with these men. (ooops, didn't mean to rhymne ).

We haven't had a clear year (scandal free) since Bill Clinton/Lewinsky that these 'sex scandals' have been literally crawling out the wood work. I wonder if the Clinton scandal set off a trend and the Dirt Diggers have discovered a gold mine. And this includes the Churches and corporations.

See it from another angle: these types of activities are nothing new for those in positions of power, but maybe the Father is trying to get His children to see what politics is really about.

Politics is the religion of man's ego, the belief they know what is best for the rest of us no matter how corrupt the natural man is or can become. We have been hoodwinked into believing it is the best technique for deciding governance. What it actually is is a continuous, rigged game of musical chairs where the select few takes turns sitting down. Few believers trust they can guide the world on their knees before Him, vessels emptied and cleansed for His use.

Bottom line, we cannot win the battle using the enemy's tools or fight as those operating in the natural do. Until His children realize this, nothing will change for the better. I know people deep down will not believe this and I am not here to convince you. As always, ask Father God to show you the truth, painful as we know it can be.

A female rapper has a moniker (no another bad lil name) that glorifies a pedophile, people clamor to be in Woody allen movies, as he brings his daughter/wife to the premiers.

No one wants to be squeaky clean - just a tid bit of scandal makes them regular guys...
