Ok, let me stop acting silly! :lol:

I made it through a whole year of healthy hair care!!! No direct heat...except for once when I backslid and flatironed my hair. :eek: I don't think my hair responds well to flatirons. :look:

I touched up yesterday after 13 wks. Anyway, if anyone is interested, you can visit my site by clicking on the photo in my signature. And....for a short time only, I'm posting a TEMPORARY PUBLIC PW to view my journal. :shocked: :D

OMG!!! Girl you did it, I can't believe you did it. Your hair looks sooo freakin Healthy and Good. That wrap was the bomb. Your hair is BEEYOOTEEFUL!

I use to be a blow-dryer and curling iron-a-holic. So, for me, putting down the "hot" tools has been the best thing I've ever done for my hair. :yep:

I'm not sure. Thanks so much for reminding me. :up: I forgot that I have to measure my hair. I can only do so when I touch-up because once I go back to the buns, it'll be impossible to try and measure, considering the shrinkage factor. I gotta remember to do that tomorrow. :yep:

Thanks! I try to follow the rules I set for myself (aka regimen) so I usually wash my hair once a week....but when the new growth starts getting CRAZY:spinning: ....I may get a little lazy and skip a week here and there.

Carlie, you are my new hair idol! :eek: Ohmigod, I am so inspired. :yep: Your hair made such progress in this past year. You really are a testament to how a good regimen can result in beautiful, shiny hair. Way to go!

ETA: Did you trim your hair at all during the past year? What kind of relaxer do you use?

Congratulations and thanks so much for sharing with all of us. All I can say is, "WOW!" I am humbled. I also read in your journal that you had just found a new stylist that uses all of the affirm products correctly. Well, oh my goodness, who knows what the next year will have in store for you now that you've got the bomb stylist! Keep up the beautiful work girl. I feel so inspired.

Carlie, your hair is very beautiful! I love to see hair that is all one length - that is one of my goals. Very nice.
