I colored my hair!!

I colored my hair ( I am now natural of relaxer so I thought itd be ok), I used the prof dye from sallys,, L'oreal Excellence Hi Color in coolest brown,, and with 20 volume developer ( ur supposed to use 30 but i was dead scared of damage) and my hair is a lovely shade of deep brown with sort of highlights,, I do not plan on touching up or recoloring my hair for at least six mths if ever becuz color over color can damage the hair,, anyone have experience with color,, if so does it damage alot?erplexed

Great! Do you have pics? what was your starting colour? Which loreal did you use again? I know loads of questions but i'm a colour junkie and can't help myself

lol, i dont have pics ( my camera phone wouldnt pick up the color anyway) but my starting color was off black and I used Loreal excellence Hi color in coolest brown, its only avaiable at beauty supply stores like sallys...
