Hi Everyone,
I recently texlaxed my hair in June... I did not like it... really damaged... and my ends were awful.. I was past bsl...Awwh :wallbash: so I cut my hair in order to start my transitioning... I cut 4 1/2 inches... i decided to bkt to help with my transition....here are the results... I plan on doing this every three to four months..

So pretty! You have thick hair, so you're gonna love how quickly your hair dries. I did mine about 10 days ago and I like it more with each wash :)

Sorry to hear about your texlaxing regrets. Your hair looks great, though. Thanks for posting all the pics!

Hey question
does your hair revert when it gets wet? Or does it dry straight? Are you natural?

thanks

Yes...It reverts back in time...I have not washed it yet... however, in doing my research, I have heard/read that the texlax hair is straighter then if you were a natural...I'm newly texlaxed :nono:.

I wouldn't say it reverts completely, but the new growth is far less wavy. My texlaxed ends dry BONE STRAIGHT, which I don't really care for. But, I've now washed 4x in the past 10 days and I've noticed some of the texture coming back already. My last texlax was 6 months ago, so I have 3+ inches of new growth. My new growth is not really that different than my texlaxed hair normally, but this makes all of it look about the same.
If I happen to get caught in a little rain, it doesn't have any effect on my hair - so far as reversion. YAY!

Looks great, nice job! In some shots your hair reminds me of mine, one of the things I love about my hair now is being pretty much even all around.

BEAUTIFUL!! So, maybe you can answer my question because i plan on doing BKT's to help me during my transition...

will you just be applying the BKT to the roots, or the whole length of your hair?

It was crazy busy at work today and I got lot's of compliments from co-workers that never ever commented on wng's and braid-outs:rolleyes: :nono: and I love these styles!

My first treatment to my entire hair... follow-ups treatments only to NG until I see it needs it to my entire head of hair ... I'll be watching this very carefully...HTH:yep:. btw, the key is less is more!!! you only need very little product on the hair..k
