I Am Now a Married Woman!

Good Evening,

I haven't been posting much on LHCF.

On May 31st...I married the love of my life! I cannot express with mere words how beautiful and glorious that day was! The day couldn't have been more beautiful, I couldn't have dreamed of this day. God worked this day out to be more than we could have ever dreamed!!! He did exactly what we asked Him to do. Our prayer was that people will first feel His presence in that place on our wedding day and feel the love that we share for Him, each other and our children. I tell you I felt that all day long and we are still getting e-mails and phone calls from guests who confirmed that they felt that the whole day. We could feel God smiling on us the whole day.

I am enjoying every minute of the married life and thank God every day for bringing my husband and his children into the lives of me and my two sons. We are so excited about what is in store for us.

Girl, that cake was the bomb...I've never had wedding cake like that. We are still getting calls about how good the cake was. We took the top tier to the hotel with us that night instead of freezing it for our 1 year anniversary. The lady who made it is going to make us a fresh one for our 1 year wedding anniversary as a gift to us. :yummy:
 
What a beautiful day. What a beautiful bride. What a beautiful family. I know that cake tasted beautiful as well. Did you freeze a piece to eat on your first anniversary?

Folks on here wanna act like if you are a Black woman, you won't find a Black man. Then, they really wanna act like Black women with kids won't find a good man. What the helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll are they thinking...........

Thank you so much EB!!! We didn't freeze a piece. We preferred to take our tier to hotel with us that night. :grin: Especially since we didn't really get any at the reception, besides during the cake cutting. Plus, the lady who made the cake said that on our first anniversary, she will just make us another small one just like what we had with our wedding. Man, that cake was so good, white chocalate with fresh pureed raspberries and strawberries as the feeling. :yummy:

Thank you so much!!! I am a witness to the fact that Black Love does exist and it is wonderful!!! It doesn't matter if you have children or not, the man that is for you will present himself to you one day. The catch is to be ready and recognize him when he comes. I almost missed out on my hubby, because I "thought" he wasn't my type. :lachen: God has a sense of humor...it turned out that my husband was everything me and my boys needed and then some!

LiLi - Hey girl!!! Long time, no talk to! I have to give you a call sometime. How are you? The boys are very excited! DH son and daughter are as well!! I think they love having both a mother and father in the house with them, they are having a ball!!!

On the wedding day, my boys were grinning from ear to ear. They came in my dressing room before the wedding once I was dressed and just hugged and kissed me. I almost lost it, I was tearing up something terrible. Then when I came out to make my entrance...they were standing there looking so handsome with these beautiful smiles waiting to escort me down the aisle. I was no more good, I cried like a baby from that point on...then when I saw DH crying it was a done deal...I was no longer worried about my make-up...I just cried, cried, cried. :lachen:
