I'm a Shima subscriber and I love her hair.

I'm sure she knows what she did is wrong and I can understand why some are upset.

So what if someone wants to bring her up, if you don't like it don't read it.:nono:
 
Shima is always good for a drool and a laugh. Drool while looking at her beautiful and luxurious hair, and laugh because she is not wrapped too tightly and says some hilarious things.

Shima joined LHCF, at some point she took quotes from other ladies on LHCF and used them on her website to promote her hair oil.

Some of the ladies on LHCF got rather livid
a lot of the post concerning her now get locked right away. This one may get locked soon as well

She posted an apology
It became affectionately known as ShimaGate:grin:

And now every now and then Someone will post a thread like this bringing the mess back up again

I just don't get her..aside from all the drama, she is very verbal about her dislike for wigs, weaves, etc but she used synthetic hair in her own french braid to make it hang down past her butt:confused::confused: If I had hair as long as she does, the last thing on my mind would be to use some fake hair to make it longer. But that is just me...

I don't know who she is...but my gosh...she is funny! Her hair is beautiful...and i can believe it's her hair without a video...I know plenty of women with hair likehers.

I don't have any issues with Shima, I've seen her vids, and they're funny...but I can't help but to wonder if people acuse her of wearing a weave/wig is because she's so vehement about black women not wearing them. You know, the old switcheroo. Just a thought.
 
It is a cultural thing. Her ways are relative to her culture as are ours. You would really think I was wierd then. lol

That said, I LOOOVVVVEEE Shima! Definately not envious of that hair, but she is so fun to watch. She is absolutely positively certifiably insane! From her yelling at her 'shimagirls', to her clothes, she's always good for killing a slow day at work. Shima is a hot hilarious mess. And a spinoff LHCF thread with Shima or Ateeya in the title NEVER fails to disappoint. I hope she never stops. :lachen:

I am not sure who is being referred to as an O.G. member. or the comment "so OP what is your objective?" I am not sure to whom that was directed. Nor the eye rolling. Was there an objective for the 'eye rolling' and it’s implication? AND IF THIS WAS NOT INDIRECTLY DIRECTED AT ME...I hold my tongue and totally disregard my reply. But if it was: This is my reply as politely and sincerely as I can.

I happened to come across her ‘Youtube Video’ and her comments and replies to certain comments on the ‘Youtube video referencing certain incidents she had experienced because she was in fact being 'verbally harassed' AT HER VIDEO SITE. I think it was awful when they beat Rodney King! And there were a lot of sides to that story too. (smile) My, we even reviewed the video of the 'mama tearing up her little girl's head and calling it 'Nappy!" Ain't nothing sacred here.
My objective: watching that video I thought: ‘this is how out of hand things can get, and there is a lesson to be learned here AT THIS SITE: “let’s never have any part of a massive pack attack or vindictiveness or spitefulness. Let’s never allow ourselves to be provoked to that point that I saw happening on the video. It can become like a ‘mob spirit!’ or lone snipers with an axe to grind AND IT CAN INFECT A WHOLE BOARD.

As far as my being a member of LHCF, I am PERSONALLY taking a stand to say: “even though she may have ‘started things’. I think she has paid enough. Some of the comments there AT THE VIDEO SITE were deliberately inciting and insulting no matter where they came from. But there are STILL hard feelings against Shima here. We need to forgive and forget and move on and not hold on to animosity against her. Recognizing this truth is not resurrecting ‘old mess’, but ‘taking responsibility ourselves of letting go’ and not ‘harbouring bad feelings and bad vibes on this board’ which obviously there are still some based on the reactions when her name is typed or when her name comes up under a ‘search’. We can set an example for the new members by not trying to ‘sweeping it under the carpet to fester and smoulder.’ Forgive it.
THEN IT CANNOT HURT US OR DEFINE US ANYMORE.
I think she needs to ‘let it go as well’, she has said her peace and needs to ‘move on’, taking responsibility for what she did, LEARNING FROM IT and not just being ‘a perpetual victim’, feeding into and off of those comments, but comments were disabled at her Video site so I was not able to say it to her. But I have said it here. And I am done. And I have gone on record here where the “hurt” started, to say ‘let it be done in spirit as well as indeed.’ Life is too short and the world is big enough for you, me and Shima and all of us. Have a nice day and no hard feelings. No offense intended and now we can put it in a coffin and bury it.

Now, I do not want to discuss anything negative with anyone else.
I think Shima's hair is beautiful and I could perhaps learn some things from her just as she learned some things from us, and she has developed much insight on her own, including learning some hard life lessons. I'm glad she made this video. Her hair is eye-candy to look at, especially since I'm trying to get to her length. Her hair is simply drool worthy. I find her adorable. Fortunately, I wasn't posting or visiting LHCF frequently during the time of the drama, so I don't know much about it.

I never heard of her, don't care, her hair is beautiful to see, and her accent is a lot better than my math professor's in college.:duck::)
 
I have to admit her hair is indeed beautiful; and if it weren't for her videos, some would think she was wearing a weave or wig. She just felt that she had to prove herself. Now, the issue can be put to rest.
