I am getting confused

Hi everyone,
I love this board really I do. I have gotten some very good advice for myself as well as for others.
HEre is my thing. I am an affirm user and I read something yesterday about it thinning hair, now I started to look back at pictures of my hair over the years and may have to reconsider affirm. I do not want to but I am going to have a long conversation with my stylist. I think he may be taking short cuts on the 5-1.

Well I say all that to say, I don't want to be swayed to leave affirm because of reviews of another (cough phyto cough) relaxer but it is getting more and more tempting.

Is anyone else going through this?

msniq, r u noticing your hair is thinning over the years? how long does your stylist leave affirm on your hair? does your stylist relax only the new growth? how often do u get touch-ups?
