I usually use Emergencee the next wash after a relaxer. What deep conditioning treatment do you recommend?LoriLOCX said:Hey tryn2growmyhair.....
You could always buy the 5 in 1 and bring it with you. Betcha' she'd be very surprised you even have it!!Fortunately, no additional conditioning is necessary after rinsing out your normalizing shampoo.
As with any relaxer, you will need to handle your hair gently after the process is completed. Just make sure that you do a reconstructor/protein treatment followed by a deep conditioning treatment, the NEXT time you wash your hair.

My stylist changed to Affirm a few years ago and over time I noticed my hair thinning out, but could not figure out why. It was definitely too strong for my hair. The end results were skinny hair. I have not had a perm since September 2007. Before then, I use to have really thick hair. I figured that it was the perm in September and decided to go natural. My hair is definitely thicker and there is way less shedding and breakage. I do use the Indian oils and MN, but I think if I were still getting perms with Affirm, it would yield the same results.
, but to the point...
She said that after examining my hair, she thinks that is what happened to me. She told me to stop using Affirm and to gradually cut off the hair that was relaxed with Affirm, and my hair should start looking thicker and healthier.
