I Ain't Playing With This Hair!!!

Today I snatched my hair to the Gawds to see if I could get a puff (just today). I am so serious about my hair growth. I am impatiently waiting

After perusing all the old threads, on Friday I steamed my hair (makeshift waiting for my Amazon delivery for my standup one to come). My hair is still soft. Last night I baggied to retain it's moisture. I just spritzed with AVJ and sealed with mango butter. It wasn't wet, just soft. Took out all my texture from my flat twists that I did Friday night to stretch my fro. Loving the results. Over the weekend I created a regimen. Even put notifications in my iPhone. I am not playing!!

Tonight I want to try to see if the red palm oil do what it do. No detangling. I only have a TWA. It's not necessary. I just definitely can feel the moisture.

I can definitely feel the difference. My hair was so dry and hard to the touch. Parched I guess. I'm gonna be easy. After tonight I probably won't do anything again until this Friday

Your hair looks so healthy and moisturized. I need to start up my steaming treatments again. I use a handheld steamer.
thank you Lady NakoPenda Friday night I used the two turbie twists and plastic bags under the hood for about 30 mins. It was awesome. Eagerly awaiting the one I ordered. But I'm trying to tell my sister, one time has transformed my hair.

Your puff looks nice and fluffy.

I can vouch for red palm oil. It has an earthy scent but your hair will be so soft. :afropick:

When you put your hands in the fro they would leave an imprint then bounce back immediately:drool:

Thanks Bibliophile. I'm sitting with it on now. The scent isn't too bad. I'll wash in about 30 mins

@guyaneseyankee Be careful with steaming. I was watching a video with Afrikan Hair God, who suffered hygral fatigue due to cumulative use of being under the hair steamer for more than the required time.
Thanks. What was the required time. So far, I've only done it once. I had planned on doing it twice a month

Thanks Planters. Girlllll, I'm 44 years old

Grabbed this from the internets:
@Carrie A for you:
Hygral fatigue is the result of constant, excessive swelling of the hair cuticle as water is absorbed and the contracting of the hair cuticle as it dries.

I have a feeling that he was slowly boiling his hair.

@guyaneseyankee minumum of 2 and at most 30 min

Thanks for the video, itt was good and informative.
I think I'll be fine with 2. Maybe even once a Month. I know my hair and I'll be good to it
