How to acheive bone straight hair

? for those who do their own perms. How can I acheive bone straight hair with my home perm? When I go to the stylist, it comes out bone straight, but when I do it at home, it is not as straight and I want that look when I do my hair at home. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

I notice that my stylist combs and smooths it through the new growth only for that finished look. But I don't think you shouldn't try for it so much, it might damage your hair. Most hair specialists don't agree with it.
