Why do I wanna know? Cuz' some people say that they're BSL with the nape of their hair only 10", and for some, they seem to need like 15" in their nape to be BSL. Me, I'm BSL, and my hair is 13" in the nape. I'm 5'1" also. How tall is everyone else here?(u don't have to necessarily be BSL to vote in the poll )

I voted. I'm about 5'4. My hair is necklength. I just took a ruler and measured from my nape to my brastrap and its about 12 inches. That seems a little weird to me because I have a long neck and a high hairline so I thought it would take more inches for me to get to BSL so if I can retain these ends I can actually be there by '08!! That's exciting!

I've always noticed this and this has been one of my main reasons for having hair anorexia. I am 4'11 and I need 11" from my nape to be BSL and 13" to be midback. I look at everyone else and it seems that their hair is incredibly longer than mine and I attributed it to their height. I need 20 inches to waistlength from nape.

exactly i think it's mostly the 5'6" people
b/c the average woman is not 5'7" or 5'8" tall
she is actually 5'4-5'5"

Me too, 5'7 with a very long neck. I also have broad shoulders and a short waist...what does that mean? I wear my brastrap lower than most of the ladies here, and waist length is only about 3 inches from brastrap length on me....this description makes me sound deformed...

I haven't measured how many inches I need to get BSL, but it's a lot.

I'm the same way. I'm 5'7'' and my torso is weird to me. Oh well....5'7'' women unite!

This is a good one!

My hair in inches is longer than my cousins. But in appearance her hair looks longer than mine. She has a shorter neck and bigger head. Her hair growth hits her on her back differently and longer than my hair hits mine. But when we put our hair in a pony tail, you can definitely see that my pony tail is much longer than hers.
