Not to call anyone out but I've also noticed that alot of women on here wear their bra strap too high (yes there is a such thing!). Some women say they are bra strap but in reality their strap is inches above the normal area.

Hmmm interesting point. It also may be that some bra straps are very thick and higher, if one has heavy breasts vs, one who has smaller breasts and the bra strap being thinner and sitting lower.

im 5'8. i think lengths vary from person to person depending on theheight.

Chiming in agreement. It also depends on length of neck, length or torso and what not. Some maybe tall but be short waisted and others the same height and long waisted.

I'm 5'8"... From the nape, BSL is about 12-13 inches on me. It depends on more than just height. You also have to take into account the length of someone's neck and torso. They may have a longer neck, which would require more inches. Same thing with torso. People also wear their bras at different heights.

Personally, I say it's when the hair touches the bottom, but it seems most ladies here use the measurement when the hair touches the very top of the bra band. We're the same height.

Cool I knew I wasn't crazy. BSL just wasn't looking that long to me. I was seeing some people's heads and going that's it? I always thought of it as reaching the bottom.

I'm not brastrap yet, so I used a tape measurer to measure the distance from the roots of my nape area and top of brastrap... it measured 14".

Right now, my nape area from roots to ends measures 8", so I have 6" to go until I'm top of brastrap...

HEY! If I retain 6" in 1 year, I'll be brastrap by this time next year!

I've noticed this a few times too... BSL should be called BOB length (bottom of breast length).

Good question. Im 5'4" (and a half, lol). Dont know how long my hair actually is, tape measure-wise.
