Hey, I've been lurking for a year or so and now I can finally post! 
I've been wondering how often you ladies encounter someone whose hair looks like shredded wheat yet feels the need to comment on your hair? You know, the "it must be a weave" comments or things like neighing like a horse etc.
I've heard rumors of girls getting jumped and having their hair ripped out at the roots (in truly ghetto areas, like Philly) by haters.
Has anyone experienced this phenomenon, and how did you handle it?
