I'm going to say about seven inches. I gained about 2 or so inches in three months, so that's around seven inches a year.

Took me 18 months to get 9 inches after my hilights. I get no less than 6 inches every year. That is why all my hilights from May 06 are already gone (I trimmed them off) and I am about the same length again. I can expect to have 6 inches of NG in my transition by May, and about 9 inches of natural hair in November.

This year I got about 6 -7 inches.. I'm pretty happy with that considering my hair was stunned for years before LHCF! :-)

I would say 6"+

I went from neck length to flirting with APL and its not the end of the year and I have like 2"+ of new growth. I dont want to claim APL yet.

But my hair journey only started in October. Before that, I knew nothing on LHCF and I didn't know anything about proper hair care. I was just doing my normal thing. Who knows I could be BSL by now. :look:

Well this is my first year really caring about the length and growth of my hair...so It looks like I was able to get 4inches this year...maybe 4.5. I did snip a 1/2 inch after a braider messed me up with cutting off fray hairs off of my briads which was actually MY own hair and lots of it.
So anyways...I hoping that in 2008, since i am an avid supplement taker and ALL I pretty much do is protective style...that I will be able to get 6+ inches by Dec 2008.

I would say 6 and I probably cut of an inch and a half. Hopefully I will keep on getting 6 + some so I can be at my goal by June of 08

I retained about 5 inches this year...so at least that but I dusted a time or two.

Anyhoo....I'll vote 6 inches.

Im pretty average. I would say 4-5 inches.

Is 4 inches average, Phew! thats good to know, I thought I was a Alien from another Planet, I actually considered myself an extreme Slow-Grower. I get a measly .33 per Month, an Inch every 3, 4 a Year, Ugh!

^^^Me, too. The problem is retention, but I'm getting better. Let's see... I found LHCF in June and started lurking, I was maybe 2- 2.5" from APL, but it was all kinds of scraggly and broken off in some places, so I trimmed to sl in June, then again in August. Now, I'm back where I started, length-wise, but it's sooo much healthier. I think I'm doing quite well. :)

I used to get only about 4" a year, now I average about 6-7" a year now with all the great care I have been giving my hair in the last year and a half or so.

I believe that will get even better in the coming year or 2 ahead. I am trying not to cut/trim too frequently anymore so that should help me to retain a lot of it. I am so excited about my future hair journey.

I get about 3-4 inches a year.
A few of my new years resolutions are to do better with my water consumption, diet and exercise to see if it will help.

I don't really know because I've never kept track before, but I'm going to say 6" (average). I have a feeling, however, that doing what I'm doing I will probably get more. I had about 2.5-3 inches in about 3.5 months, so I'm hoping that keeps up throughout the year. My goal is to be APL by March '10 and BSL by the end of September '10.

I chose 7 I think I will attribute that to my growth aids like vitamins and I dont trim my hair often at all.

This is my first year here and measuring. I'm about 9 months in and have grown about
4in so far. I just might come in at the requsite 6in/yr. if I can hang on to the hair I've grown.

I voted six inches, but I am not really sure about that. I was thinking about tracking my growth by doing a strand test.

since my bc I cut it off again that next month because I liked it so I am going to say I started with 1/2 10 months ago and I have 4 1/2 in on my head now.. first time I flat iron part of it so that I could get a length check.. lets see in Jan

i don't know. i cut my hair like every three months....i am not getting a hair cut next year! that's my promise to myself. but actually i think it's 6 inches maybe 5. when i grew out my relaxer i had hair that was past sl in 2 years.

I have no clue. I never checked. I will continue to just let my hair grow and not do the checks, that can make a girl paranoid and get too anxious. I'm upping my health in every way possible though, so my hair will flourish and my mind and body!

My hair grows pretty fast...about 8 inches a year. I'm hoping that I can get it to grow faster next year!

I retain 5-5.5" a year and I trim off about 1/2". So my hair probably grows between 5-6" a year. I always wear protective styles, so I think I retained the majority of my hair growth.
