In South London, 20 British Pounds

You'll spend your whole day there though, they do almost 100 weaves a day there

In MS- It was $40 years ago in a home salon. She really helped to with growing my hair and I could keep those in for a month + or until I was tired.

In MN- I got one for $40 at a home but she couldn't cut or style.

I have been doing my own for years so it saves me money.

Please share her info.
I live in Austin, I paid $250 for one a couple years ago and I had to take it out, it was just a horrible job.
I got one in February at somebody's home she charged $75 but she didn't do a great job covering the tracks in the top.
I went to another salon last month she said $325, but she didn't even have a portfolio and when I went for a consult on a Friday evening her salon was empty so of course I had to pass.

Want long hair, PM me. Thx!

I'm interested in how much you pay at a salon, at a ghetto hairshop, at somebody's apartment. Don't forget to say what city you live in, too!

I'm thinking I may do this as a sideline to bring in a little loot off the books :sekret:

i pay $90 in Jamaica, Queens. NYC (hair not included of course add 210-250 for hair)

For hair $40
For service, ZERO!

My sister does mine.

Its not hard to do, you can learn to do it yourself.

If you can cornrow, you can weave.

I live in San Diego, CA and I've paid 200 for a partial, 250 for a full- hair not included for either.

I wish I could do a weave or braids... I don't know how to cornrow or french braid.:nono:

Thanks. I used 12 inch milky way. My hair was neck length to shoulder length at the time. I was wearing sew ins back to back to try to grow out a haircut. (It did work but I got too poor to keep getting them, thus began the healthy hair care journey...)

I got it done in the first week in June and this pic was taken at some point in August before I took it down

I have not had a sew-in for years, however when I was getting them I paid anywhere from 100-180 for the install plus whatever I paid for the hair.

In NYC I pay $200 at the salon plus buy the hair. A friend (not licensed) did a sew in for me at her house for $80 plus I bought the hair. She does it on the side and has some regular clients.
