How Many Years Relaxed Before Going Natural?

10 years.
I got my first perm at 7 and I cut it off at 17

my first one was at 13. it was like a "gift" for doing well in school. my mother didn't care to do it but i begged her because i was the only natural in my class (the other girls had permed their hair sometime between 6th and 8th).

my first perm was horrible! the hairdresser said she didn't put it in for long enough so she did it twice smh

I started getting relaxers aroung the age of 7 until 21. Went natural for a while and returned to relaxers when I was 22.

Got my first relaxer at 14 since I wanted to fit in with the other high school girls. I BC'd at 26 and would have done it sooner if I wasn't so lazy.
