Relaxed. I've gone natural once, technically twice; I first found out about naturalistas some years ago and called myself trying to transition with zeroooo knowledge. Long story short, that didn't work out lol. I managed to fully transition by slowly big chopping with the help of a good stylist and sew-in's about 2 years ago, but I still didn't know how to really care for my hair once I was fully natural and I always ended up just throwing a wig on.

So I'm back to the creamy crack while I try to master the basics, but once I really get the hang of reaching my goals and maintaining my own hair (haven't worn wigs in about a year so it's going well enough), I might BC and try it again as I loved how thick and healthy my natural (4b/c) hair was.

My last texlaxer was in September 2017. I big chopped July 31st, 2018 and was natural ever since. I was texlaxed for about 4 years prior but no longer. I prefer my natural hair now. It's a lot easier to manage now than the first time I tried which was in 2012. What made it easier this time is washing and conditioning in big plaits. Sooooo much easier now.

Happily natural since 2014, when I cut off the remainder of my relaxed hair. It'll be my 5th year this September and I'm enjoying doing very little to my hair. I'm looking forward to breaking length barriers this year too.

Natural, last relaxer 2014, big chopped 2015. To be honest, this is the first year I actually like my natural hair, when I discovered mini twists. I can wear my hair out without a half wig or gelled down with ponytails and buns.

Natural for almost a year. About 11 1/2 months maybe? I’ve been natural on and off since ‘07. I go through stages of wanting permanently straight hair and being Natural lol. Right now I’m in my Natural stage. I’m not sure if I’ll ever relax my hair again. What I’ve realized is that it’s a lot easier for me being a lazy Natural than being a lazy Relaxer :lachen:
