yes. thanks for replying! I am trying to go from black to blonde. I've had blonde highlights twice in my life, but I want all of my hair 3 shades of it. After I got tired of my highlights, I dyed all of my hair black instead of just doing the highlights. This was last month or so that I went back to black.
I started the bleaching this week, and I wonder if I did something in the wrong order the other day.
A day ago, I bought tons of stuff from Sally Beauty Supply for a project I'm doing, and one of the sales ladies said that I should use L'Oreal Color Zap AFTER I bleach with Salon Care Blue Flash.
The Color Zap didn't lighten my hair much if at all. I think it's because I should've started with that. Am I right? I ran out of bleach because I was told I only needed one packet. This bleaching session, I was left with brown hair in most parts where the natural black hair was dyed blacker. The highlights that were dyed black were lightened to reddish orange and yellow orange.
I want to change brands from Salon Care's Blue Flash to Kaleidocolors Violet. I have no idea what the difference between violet and blue regarding the results of a blonde job. I'm trying to get my hair all the way white like my stylist did when I got my highlights. Her bleach must've been higher quality than what I found at Sally's because I was out of her shop in two hours.
Also, to make my hair rest, I decided to wait to do the second bleach session for a week. Meanwhile, I've resolved to deep condition with protein and moisture conditioners. I also have Aphogee keratin and green tea for the first time. I want to make sure my hair doesn't break off too much. I also want to do hot oil treatments.
I know this is a long post, but I just wanted to be clear about what I'm trying to do. Please feel free to offer any and all advice. Thanks!
