does shedding equal future growth aid success??? I am not doubtful, I am just curious as to the science/ reasoning behind why shedding from an external growth aid means it will work for you? TIA.

(I saw this idea in a few threads about shedding and external growth aids and I hope I am phrasing the question correctly)

Hrm. This is my logic, but it could be wrong.

Shedding (naturally, with a bulb on the end of the hair) is the end of the 'life cycle' for a particular strand of hair. Right behind that shed strand, from the same follicle, a brand NEW strand of hair is growing. New hair can't grow, without old hair being shed.

So. My 'logic' is this. Growth aid speeds up the rate of growth (which means it speeds up the follicle's actions). Any hair that was 'almost' ready to shed, should shed faster, because the new hair behind it is growing faster, and pushing it out of the scalp.

So. If you start a growth aid, and see more shedding, hopefully that means that your follicles are growing faster, and pushing out those new strands of hair, faster.
