how did you grow your hair?

I was blessed with working hair follicles and that was about it!:look: My hair is naturally fine, low/medium density and 4b. Therefore I have to work for every each I retain.

The things that help me retain length are:

1. Keeping my hair soft and moisturized by using moisturizers and oils
2. Keeping my hair strong by using protein regularly
2. Low manipulation, I only comb (w/ a comb) on wash days and finger comb daily
3. Keeping my hair detangled- My hair is too fine, so if it tangles and or matts up Im bound to loose hair.
4. Protective tension free hair styles and scarfing at night
5. relaxing only 3 to 4 times a year
6. Keeping heat away from my hair

I won't say how did I grow my hair. I will talk about how I got my hair longer because I always could grow some hair. Retention was my major problem. Retention AND consistency. When I started doing those things like being consistent with moisturizing my hair and deep conditioning, I started getting longer, more stronger hair.

When I started concentrating on keeping my ends moisturized and sealed, my hair also retained major lenght. Using S Curl, using my Neutrogena Triple Moisture, Deep Conditioning AND my protein treatments and I started getting major retention with is leading to longer lenghts because as I said before, I can grow some hair
