How did you beat one-sided growth?? HELP!

My hair always grows faster on one side. I don't really have a problem with it. I have even relaxed one side before the other side because of it. I just keep my hair cut as evenly as possible, but the side that grows faster tends to get trimmed more often than the other side.

Now, I have had to deal with uneven hair as a result of breakage and a bad cut. That I just fix gthe problem and as it grows, I cut it until it is even.

I just leave it alone. I guess I'm not one of the types that has to have blunt even ends esp. if I wearing curly styles most often. But I did just get an idea, you could try putting some type of growth aid only on the slower side. I don't know if that will help but if won't hurt either. I know one thing... I ain't cutting off my length (on-sided or otherwise) just because of some retarded pattern my hair decided to grow in.:lachen: Maybe I'll give my own advice a try. HTH

I've been doing that with my BT. I make sure I focus a lil more on my left side b/c it grows a lil slower than the right side.

it depends on why you have one-sided growth. do you sleep on one side of your head more so than the other? if so you should try sleeping on the other side of your head. you could also try scalp massages on the slow growing side

My sides have rotated over the years. Sometimes the right side is doing better than the left and vice versa.:perplexed Right now, they're pretty much neck and neck though. I simply chopped the side that was waaay longer to match the other side. But then the other side decided it wanted to out do the chopped side and started thriving. So I dunno. But regular trims have helped keep errthing in check.
