What do you use to moisturize your 4a new growth? Currently, I have to SATURATE my new growth with castor oil to make it manageable. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Dudley Q's PCA and Elucence Moisture Balancing Conditioner as a leave-in.

Neutrogena triple moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask OR a dominican conditioner called Nacidit Olive Oil after rinsing out I apply a mixture of olive oil, aloe vera juice/gel, rose water, NTM leave in, castor oil, mix aphogee leave in, and mix in a few oils (apply mixture while hair is still saturated with water).

I hope this helps, let me know!

After using a moisturizing cond. I use scurl on the new growth, seal with an oil moisturizer ( currently UBH creme moisturizer or motions oil). Then I detangle and tie down with a satin scarf to air dry. Once dry, my new growth is flat but I use my curling iron to press the new growth and curl the hair.

S-Curl. It keeps my hair so soft. And I seal with
castor oil. It stays moisturize for a week

Castor oil is not a moisturizer. For a quick easy one, try aloe vera gel, then CO. Or, you can also leave in some of your conditioner.

I use Aveda Brilliant Damage Control spray and then seal with castor oil. Works like a charm and my new growth feels as soft a baby's hair. I also sometimes use a combination of Jane Carter Nourishing Creme and Nourish & Shine.

Right now Im using either Suave Shea Butter conditioner or V05 Moisture Milks in Strawberries and Cream conditioner as a leave in...makes my new growth soooo manageable and I am 7 months post.
