At the BSS I noticed 100% Glycerine. I picked it up then put it back due to not knowing on what to do with it. The price was $4.99 for a nice sized bottle.
I got a bottle at Wal-Mart for $2 and change for 6 ounces.
You could make a moisturizing spritz with water, oil, glycerin, and some cheapie conditioner. Glycerin is also great when added to pre poo and deep conditioners and some girls use it as a styling aid for a silky press. It's very thick and is kinda like honey in consistency, so if your hair likes honey it might like the glycerin.
I used Glycerin yesterday as a pre-poo. I just saturated my hair and hung out for a couple of hours. Then I shampooed it out with CON, and deep conditioned. I also diluted some with water to use as a leave-in.
I noticed that after I applied it to my dry hair, I got really cute curl definition and softness in my newgrowth. But I think it's too "greasy" to use on dry hair for daily styling.
