Horror Salon Experience!!

I am a stylist and even me, for this very reason, will NEVER allow someone else to detangle my hair. I always go to the salon with untangled hair just as a precaution. When someone comes to me with tangled hair fresh out of braids, I charge to detangle. Doing it the right way really takes time and extra care and I don't get why stylists never bother to tell the clients that before hand. Well I know why, but it's really a shame.

I am so sorry this happened to you!!! I agree that you should maybe detangle before you go to a stylist or even see if they would allow you to wash, condition and detangle and they blow dry and style it? Of course I don't mean the place that did this but any other place you go to. I had my bad experiences with stylists as a relaxed head and I am too scared to go as a natural. I know your hair will recover from what that idiot did. Make sure to post a review on Google and I agree that you should call and ask for your money back.
