Hood Dryer Question- I need to know!

What type of hood dryer do you use? Is there a difference between an ionic one and a normal one? If so, what's the difference? Is the infamous Pibbs an ionic dryer?

I have a normal hood dryer that you sit on something to get under it. I think it's by Gold N Hot. It's a collapseable (sp?) one. I'm asking because I'm going to be rollersetting regularly and I'm wondering if I should upgrade. Thanks in advance.

I had an ion tabletop dryer until I upgraded to the Pibbs last week. I upgraded mainly to cut down on drying time, dry my hair evenly without zapping all the moisture and to increase my comfort level while sitting under the dryer. I'd say if you are happy with your current dryer, though, and it gets the job done then stick with it!
