Honest! How much water do you drink daily?

If this is true, that would definitely make reaching my daily quota easier. Please let me know what you find out. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Do you think it's more important to drink a lot of water, or to take vitamins? /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Honestly, I hate plain water and really don't drink it. Sad huh? My boyfriend thinks that I'm going to drop dead any minute....I can't rememeber the last time I had a whole glass of water. Now I do drink juice and milk ALL the time and stay away from soda...

I try to drink 8 glasses of water, a day. Three cups of hot water and lemon and maybe 3 or 4 glasses of water, but I also try to take a lot of water based vegetables, like Broccoli, grean beans, corn, green and red peppers, so even if I don't make the 8 glasses of water, I still get a lot of water in my system. I have found since taking more vegetaables, my skin has improved greatly and my hair feels a lot more moist.

Thanks Adrienne!
I was just wondering because I know many females with long hair that haven't touched a vitamin since the flinstones days but drink a lot of water..... /images/graemlins/smirk.gif
I guess some of us just have it like that (not including myself lol!)

I try to drink at least 8-10 glasses a day. I bought one of those Pur water pitchers so that the tap water tastes just like bottled water. Also, anything else that I drink is watered down 50/50 with water first - juice, caffiene-free and sugar- free soda, and sugar-free cool aid. This is a great way to get additional water in your system. I love making sugar-free cool-aid *hey cool-aid!* No sugar, caffiene, or calories!

You guys are making me thirsty with this, "I drink 1-2 glasses a day." Whew! I drink like a camel conpared to some of you guys. lol /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

*Goes into kitchen to drink some water.*
*Goes back to get some water/soda*
*Goes back to make fresh batch of cool-aid*

This thread has encouraged me to get my act together again in the drinking water area. Sometimes I just forget! which means I might have one drink of water a day unless I make a concentrated effort. It is a chore. Like taking vitamins. Sometimes I skip a day or two of those. Like "I'm in control here!...then feel guilty....whine....Bonjour.

I would like to encourage everyone here.... I used to hate the bland, bland, taste of water, especially in the morning. Take it slowly. Try to drink water with your breakfast and with food whenever you eat. After a few days, you will begin to drink water on its own at which you will increase you water intake. Always try to drink water even when you aren't thirsty. By the time you GET thirsty, it is too late, you are already dehydrated and thirst is your body's way way of saying..."Er, Er...excuse me, hint! hint!..water please!!"
I have a 20oz bottle that I keep. And I keep up with how much water I have drank during the day using that. i.e. 20oz. 8 times equals 160 ozs. Try adding some lemon some times or Apple Cidar Vinegar (organic) to it ( a cap full, or whatever you can take), it is great on the skin if it it too oily.

Let me please add that it is a great weight loss tool, you can't go wrong with it. When you are menstruating and are bloated, drink water and more water, which decreases the bloating. It works, I can tell ya!
