Miss_Jetsetter - your progress is amazing. Please tell what Reneice is doing to you because that 6 month shot is damn near unbelievable :eek: .

Ummm what do you mean "you think you made it"??? You made it and passed honey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It' looks great and sooooo thick...are you texlaxed?? I'm loving the thickness.

That's it! I'm doing HYH. But I'll be doing it till my birthday, which is in September.

My touch ups. I fly to her every 6 months to get them. Her cosmetology skills are exceptional .

She is a weavoligist, but she did me the favor of relaxing my hair maybe because I was from out of town and wanted a stylist who was not going to 'play' in my hair and was willing to travel to get it done. I don't want to cause any confusion with people thinking that she does touch ups regularly or that I go to her for weaves. Weaving is her specialty and i'm actually not sure if she accomodates realxers only. Just wanted to clear that up:)

I wasn't sure if I hit my 1st goal...

no, i'm not texlaxed I relax with Phytospecific every 6 months, my natural hair is very thick and I have a lot of hair

Thank you NYCutiepie.

Since I went to Reniece back in December I had been frequenting the Dominican salon every two weeks for a wash and set (and occasional treatment). That's about it.

Towards the end of my stretch I would do wash and gos (with Elucence)

I constantly used my satin scarf and pillowcase at night for protection.
 
Wow, I didn't realize how effective these HYH challenges were up until now! You ladies have done a wonderful job with your growth :)

Oh ok, so you didn't get a weave from her. Right? So how did you hide your hair or were you just hiding it from us?

Nice Job TSmith...I'm mad at your picture skills...those photos are the exact same lighting, angle etc etc...which I suck at.

Here are my pictures...its not really that noticable...but it is in person to me so I'm happy. Actually looks longer in the first picture...strange.
