Hide Your Hair Til April Fools 2007 Challenge

I am in! I will be hiding in sew-ins. My personal goal is to go until May prior to my graduation. I am currently in a sew-in.

I wil be doing this challenge as well as crown and glory and the boot camp My Hair will be hidden in kinky twist extensions, weaves and my own shrunken twists/outs
 
Please add me as a participant:up: My goal is APL by June, so this is perfect. I'll use wigs and buns as my protective styles:D
 
QUESTION!!

are we not allowed to have ANY new pics until april? or can we post pics as long as they do not show how long our hair has gotten?

bc i know im gonna get sick of my crappy avy pic any day now and im gna wanna put a new pic of a different protective style. lol
 
Count me in!! I joined today after lurking for a while just to do this challenge. I'm a natural 4b. I am wearing twists now but I plan on wearing a weave for the very first time to give me & my hair a break. I have always done braids with extensions for protective style but I don't have the patience for that anymore. I will be searching but if someone can post a good link to how not to lose your hair or how to take care of your hair while wearing a weave I'd love to check it out. Thanx in advance.
 
Count me in too, I currently have a short, pixie, Halle Berry cut that I want to grow out, My overall goal is healthy, even, brastrap length or longer but hey one step at a time. My first mini goal is even, ear length.
 
I am a newbie ...and I am just started out trying to get my hair on par - but I am up for the challenge .... hopefully i can get back to healthy hair:(
 
After seeing the inches and inches of progress everyone showed in the Xmas challenge, I am in!!! I have been pretty good about wearing my bun now because I know how to make it comfortable, so it should not be bad at all.

  • Hide your hair in whatever protective style you wish
  • Keep your hair from being seen by as many family/friends as you can
  • No posting of update pics until the reveal at the end of the challenge
The challenge would start on January 1st (after everyone gets home from their New Years plans) and end on April 1st for a full 3 month challenge.
You get passes for special occasions to wear your hair out.

Let us know if you are in:D

P.S. After this challenge we'll do another 3 months until July 4th, and then from there we'll do a 6 month challenge to next Christmas.:grin: :grin:

Please add me back on this one! I've been wearing my hair down since Christmas Eve and I'm getting a little too used to it :lol: . Time to get serious though...it's only 3 months ;) .

dang it I wish, I could join but I'm bout to take my hair out of cornrows and get a relaxer. I have hid my hair in cornrows for about two months now. I need to let my hair breathe and do roller wraps for awhile. I'll do the next hide your hair challenge.
 
I am In. Add me to the list for this challenge. This is like my 4th hair challenge for 07.
I'll be relaxing before the end of the year but will be putting in a sew in about 1-2 weeks later. But in the meantime I'll be bunning till I put the sew-in in. Hell nobody saw my hair then anyways :D

Good question! Last challenge I think most people didn't post pics at all, but I think it's fine as long as their are no new length pics.:)

I'm actually planning on posting my weave regimen in a separate thread since I've been getting PM'd a lot with questions, I thought that it would be nice to put the info into a thread for all to view.

And Lucia's right Jan 1, 2007 the challenge begins so "swang" your hair while you can;) .
