I have been lurking for the last three months and want to introduce myself. My name is Charz

My hair awareness begun when i let my aunt relax my hair. I've had my hair relaxed since I was 14 by my mother and father. (they had to double team because my mane was wild!) My hair was just below shouldar length. I know that I can grow it longer but I did not know how to take care of my hair.
My aunt was a licensed cosmotologist back in the day, so I trusted her. I kind of had a feeling that things were going down hill when she stated that she didn't need to wear gloves, and I had to remind her to grease my scalp and edges. I have medium thick hair and she applied Super relaxer to ALL OF MY HAIR. She overlapped something fierce. When she did a rinse, my broken hair was covering the sink.
In November I had a BC. I couldn't take the breakage and the hair being all over the shower floor and wall day after day, week after week.
I really appreciate all of your guys wisdom and experience. I look forward to progressing and have made my hair a priority.
