i've been using the saa for @1 month. here, i have on 1 coat of mascara (loreal paris carbon black voluminous). although my lashes aren't thicker, they are getting longer. it did not dawn on me to take a 'before' picture. one odd thing i did notice though is that the ends are light red now :look: and i don't know if it's because of the saa?

ps - pardon the frizz; this spiral set is almost two weeks old.

no, i just used 7-8 drops of the silk amino acids in each tube of mascara.

tell me, what is the castor oil used for?

tia

When Sareca did the thread on the SAA for the lashes - I'm almost positive it was her (or maybe someone else) that was using the SAA in the daytime & the castor oil at night. I'll look for the thread & send you the link.

Wow!!! I love your eyelashes and you have such pretty eyes!

Your hair looks really pretty too. :yep:

Your lashes look great. I really like the length. I'll have to try the SAA. I've been using a product by Talika for eyelashes and I've noticed that the ends of my lashes are very light. I wonder what causes this?

I posted this in the wrong section...

Reading this thread I have a couple of questions:

1. What does clear mascara do?
2. I've heard that wearing mascara everyday is not good. The result can be NO lashes in the future. How does this happen?
3. How does either Castor Oil or SAA make lashes longer or thicker if we're not applying it to the base of the eyelids and merely applying it to the hair. If it's the same concept for hair than how can the texture change if the product is not going into the hair follicle or at the root?

Sareca, Miss_cherokee wassup?

It was me... http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=156277
but miss_cherokee came up with adding castor which is finally thickening my lashes. :drunk: In addition to SAA and castor, I also add collagen.

:wow: Ladylibra those are some serious lashes! Try the castor oil you'll be amazed.

hi there, sareca

did you get the collagen from lotion crafters too? will any (brand/grade) castor oil do? this means i'll have to take my lenses out at night (which i should be doing anyway).

Your lashes look great! I have to agree with you, if your lashes are long to begin with then they'll get longer with the SAA. My lashes are thick so I've noticed as I use the SAA they get thicker, not longer.

Nice lashes. I put SAA in my mascara but I don't wear it consistently. After seeing yours, I'm going to wear it everyday for 30 days to see what happens.

Will definately be trying this SAA stuff when i get a next batch of ingredients

i use castor oil on and off and it worked very very well

Sareca, do you add the saa, collagen and castor oil to your mascara? I wanna see some lash pics! I  looking at long eyelashes!
