I have this program that I'm acting in and the whole cast needs to have straight hair. Now I'm currently in braids using wet and wavy hair. The director told me the braids were ok but asked if I can just straighten the ends temporarily. I don't mind but I need some type of oil to press with quickly (the show's Monday).

Right now all I have is Olive Oil, Motions Hair Lotion (which to be honest smells like it's burning when I pressed with it before), Sulfur 8 and some 99 cent store bergamot hair grease with petro and mineral oil. I do have the full size Jilbere Ceramic Flat Iron but I don't have the cash to buy something before Monday. What can I use?

I don't know if you'll get this in time, but if I were you, try this:

If Human hair extentions
use the olive oil as a heat protectant and use the flat iron

If Synthetic extentions
use a bowl of hot water and soak the ends of the extentions

if your own hair
load it up with lots of contioner

Just a warning which I'm sure you know, but do not attempt to use flat irons on synthetic braids.

If you do have human hair braids then you can use flat irons. Use small sections to get good straightening.

If you have curly synthetic extensions and you got this curliness by braiding and dipping in hotwater, it will be very hard to undo that. The best thing to try would be to use very hot water(boil in a kettle then boil in the microwave). The hotter the water, the greater the straightening.
