I am looking for human hair with this type of curl, but am not sure what to get since there are different kinds of curly/wavy human hair.

Can't really tell. Maybe call the salon and ask? If you're worried that it might be a "family secret" ask them in a sly way: if you were going to bring in your own hair in for braids, what hair would you get in order to achieve that look.
