I had a bad experience with my stylist using Affirm Fiberguard Sensitive Scalp with comes in the little packets and is no-lye. It left mineral deposit in my hair and made it seriously dry.
She does not want to apply Fiberguard Lye even if I bring it to her and I honestly think she lied to me about the content of the relaxer shes been using just so i would come to her and get the money. Pretty low huh? Either that or she really doesn't know her own trade and product.
Either way it's bad and has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Why is it so hard for someone to honor and respect what a black woman wants done with their hair. Im paying you? What is the problem?
Does anyone know a good stylist with a modern fashion forward aesthetic that would happily apply this for me or just happens to use this anyway?
