Im alittle disappointed. 2 yrs ago I was just learning how to wash my hair myself after years of going to the salon every 1 to 2 weeks to get my hair done. I didn't know ANYTHING about co-washing, the drying effects of shampoo, moisturizing daily, etc. I remember being very concerned at times but my hairdressers would only tell me to put Biosilk in my hair every day and come to them everyweek. They didnt even dc really. It makes me somewhat annoyed and sad to think they were trying to get more money out of a kid/teen instead of teaching them how to take care of themselves on their own out of fear that theyd lose customers.

So Ive learned alot and my hair has become fuller and has more elasticity. But it's hard for me to get past a few inches past APL. When I look back I didnt know what moisturizer to use, and I'd wait FOREVER to get a trim, so my hair prolly looked shorter than it should have been due to the splits. I dont really know that much of a difference from a year ago, which annoys me. I should have BSL by now- I didnt really use heat at all. I'd roller set and air dry, and Id dc everyweek and protein every other. I cant figure out why Im not getting past APL. My only guess is the trims. But I just got a trim right before my last relaxer, and two weeks later my ends look splitsy again. From what I dunno- it may be because I ran out of time and used a round brush and blow dryer. im gonna say that's why because I'd hate to say that healthy hair practices are not working for me. So yeah...it was the round brush that I used twice...
