I had my hair dyed red professionally about three weeks ago, and was keeping my color bright with John Frieda's clear-shine after-shampoo "lock-in." Today, I had a permanent "wave" put in, and after finally drying (my hair is THICK and long), my hair is almost back to (dark strawberry) blonde again! I HAVE a bottle of Reddissimo, but the directions don't help much. I don't have access to anything but a blow dryer! I want my red back, and I just can't shell out ANOTHER $100+ on my hair SO SOON! :(

Can someone please help me? Thank you SO much!

I frequently use Colourshines in Cinnamon. Its very easy to use...it's only dye and conditioner so u dont have to worry about damaging your hair. So all u gotta do is wash your hair (maybe with a clarifying poo). dry your hair with a towel...and wait til it's about 70% dry...part your hair in 4 and then apply the colourshines to your hair. I start at the roots and then work down to the ends. I just slather and smoothe with my hands. Put on a plastic cap. sit under the dryer for 25mins. rinse. wash your hair with a gentle shampoo (or mix with water). deep condition with something moisturizing. then proceed with your usual drying and styling....

i think i may have to try the redissimo soon... i want something redder.

Thanks so much for answering, but -- I don't have a hair dryer that I can sit under! All I have are blow dryers! I don't think I've ever even seen a "sit-under" dryer except at hair salons. When I was a little girl, we had a big clunky thing that attached to a hose and a plastic cap, but that was ages ago. Can I use the blow dryer and keep going back and forth with the hot airstream instead?

Thanks again!

yes u can use the hand blowfryer and u can also just not use any heat and just leave on ur head for maybe 2hrs...i have done this before because there was a thunderstorm. My hair did color cinnamon, but not as INTENSE as what i had hoped....

Thank you so SO much!! I truly appreciate your help! The perm took much more of the red out than I had expected, and I've been a bit bummed, especially when I thought the Reddissimo wouldn't be able to help... Bless you!

I just used cinnamon colourshine on my hair. It is very easy to use. Wash first and then deposit the colourshine. Next I sit under the dryer.
