Has anyone tried Shima Hair Oil?

I only know about her from reputation and this thread still has me laughing. Thanks guys- I needed this- crap day at work. :wallbash: went to :lachen::lachen::lachen: in seconds!

A Mess! I guess Shimagate pops up every 3-6 months or so. LUVZ IT!:lachen::lachen::lachen:

Back on topic: I have not tried Shima oil but the ingredients look good. However, I figure I can mix my own oils myself.

Here she is oiling her hair, what do you guys think? I love how long it is, but I'm wondering if she massages her oil into her scalp too.

Seriously OP, those ingredients are easily accessible and you could make your own oil blend yourself. Also, I do not believe one needs to the oil in order to grow long hair. That is probably not the "secret" to her success (there probably isn't one). As evidenced on this board, not all of those with long hair have the same regimen. Off the top of my head, I can think of two hip-length women both with very different regimens. Anyway, the common denominator with long-haired women here seems to be treating hair with care and knowing what works for their hair.

As for Shima, I would never personally support anything that she does given she's tried to scam this board before and she's just plain odd on youtube.

GeeLove
:pop: I got some to share w/ everybody that wanna watch.

ladytee2:cheers: I will bring the drinks.

and i have the seats!:hide:

OP saying Shima around here is like going on a cursing fest......

YES! I love her oil. I'm on my third bottle. The bottles are kind of small and cost $12.95. (expensive). But it is such a nice, light consistency oil. My hair does well with heavy oils, but sometimes a light oil like hers is perfect for every day.

The smell is heavenly. Somewhere between Ginseng and Rose...herbal smelling. My hair loves it. It's worth a try.

lol at this thread
I think some people tried it out of sheer curiosity
I think people like it, but there have been no raves about it, I think shima claims it will give you super fast growth
I remember this one person started a thread saying how the oil was nice after she had just gotten it but she never reported back later with results
I guess her hair isn't at WL! :lachen:

I'm the one who said the oil was nice and it is. I'm on my third bottle and I only buy quality products. My hair is doing well and the oil is a nice addition to my regular staples.

has it grown as quickly as she said it would?

Nope, I make my own oils and hair cream for myself.:yep:
You don't have to pay me heres a good mix:
Coconut Oil
Jojoba Oil
Vitamin e Oil
Rosemary Oil, or Peppermint Oil

P.S. I wonder how many pages this thread gone to have before it's deleted.:lachen:

I think I'd rather make my own oil mixes too. Then I can change them as I need. Vatika i the only bended oil I do or plan to buy.

Well. Just in case it gets any worse....just wanted to bring some real cooking...popcorn ain't ish when it comes to ShimaGate. Ducez!

Thanks for the update,
Good to know that at least she sells a quality product, even though she has a screw loose...and not very good business ethics...
I wish she would just market the oil for what it is, not a magical growth oil
