Has Anyone Made Their Final Length Goal?

A true LHCF'er never has a FINAL hair goal. It's a work in progress always. You reach shoulder, you want APL. You reach APL, you want bra strap. Bra Strap wants mid back, midback wants waist, waist wants hipbone, hipbone wants classic, classic wants calf, calf wants foot, foot wants to drag the floor, drag the floor wants to wrap around the room... feel me?
I have reached a few goals, and I am so greatful for the hair on my head. I absolutely love it. My buns are bountiful and lush, my curl sets are thick, beautiful and still long. Now even my ponytail hits brastrap (eventhough that was one of my goals once upon a time)!! I stress less over my hair now than I did on my grow out crusade. I don't religiously take vitamins or stress over wearing my hair down... but in the same respect I am cognizant of my hair. I still practice good hair care habits... out of, well, habit. It's second nature now. I absolutely LOVE my hair. I really do. I wouldn't trade it for anyone else's. I know understand what it means that a woman's hair is her glory. There is a freedom in reaching your hair length goals, but remember you'll always be a slave to that next goal.
Catch 22, dare I say?

Now why you scaring me.

Hey, I don't remember seeing this thread...but I wasn't here on Valentine's Day so maybe it got lost in the shuffle for me.

Anyway, I got to my goal via low manipulation, a great diet, and plenty of deep conditioning.

Nothing is different now...I still shampoo/DC once or twice each week, and I still eat well, exercise, and leave my hair alone.

I'm enjoying my hair. I'm flirting with the idea of growing to waistlength, but it's not something I'm focused on at all because that has never been a goal of mine. At this point, lengthwise, it's a whatever happens, happens kind of thing because I'm completely content being just below BSL.

I'm planning to straighten my hair bone straight in the summer so I can really see what's going on with it in terms of length so we'll see whether waistlength is in the cards when the time comes. With as much shrinkage as I have, I would probably enjoy longer ponytails and such with waistlength.
