Hi everyone,
For the ladies who are using Hairgasm shampoo and conditioner are you still experiencing great results.
Thanks

I have been using this system for 25 days now and I am experiencing great results. My hair feels better than ever before. I had about 2 inches of new growth over the past 6 weeks. I relaxed today after 7 weeks and I am truly amazed at the difference in my hair. It feels soft and it is more manageable than ever. I am even starting to like the texture of my new growth more than I use to. I have very coars hair. The system has a total of 15 shampoos and 5 conditioners. My hair is getting better every day. Let me know if you have any questions.

For the past week, I've been using the BTN Duo (better then nothing duo) So, far I loving my results.

Are the 2 inches of new growth directly related to using the system?

I can honestly say that the hair system contributed to my growth. It had also been 7 weeks since my last relaxer. Louise Marie (the maker of the products) says that you should expect a hair growth spurt over the first month of product usage because you are improving your scalp. She reminds us though, that there is no magic formula for hair growth since we all have different growth rates. Each morning, I do a scalp scrub that makes my scalp feel increadible (warm and tingley). I use to get sores all over my scalp. I don't get them anymore. I am in love with this system.

I have been using the products now for a couple of weeks and I really love her products. I have been transitioning for 17 1/2 months and I truely wish I have discovered these products before as I think my transition would have been more easy. I am usint the BTU shampoo & conditioner. bliss ends oil, scalp oil, leave in conditioner. My hair texture feels better, softer . I am getting ready to get rid of all my other products and use these exclussively. I am going to buy the magic pack soon within the next couple of months. The products are expensive but well worth it to me.

Shana, which product do use use for your scalp massage. I just started using these products and love them. Thanks.

Deborah

I have been using the products for 23 days. So far so good. My hair is softer, than every before with little work... not hot oil treatments, no sitting under the dryer. Just wash, then 1 min with conditioner and rinse. I would try the BTND 1st. Because, Magic packing involves a commitment to a routine( daily series-wash, cond. & combing). For a person like me( I did not comb everyday)this was a BIG adjustment.

Wow, I would like to see growth from using her products. I emailed her with some questions and so far I got no response. I really can't afford her products right now...but I would like to try it sometime or another. I don't think I could wash my hair everyday though.

Actually I wash my hair once a week but soon I will be trying 2x per week. Every day while transitioning is out of the question for me while transitioning. Even without daily washing, I still see the benefits of her products.

So the daily routine CAN be modified? I inquired about that but I all I got was that you were supposed follow the system to a "T".

The magic pack comes with #18SOS scalp scrub (mother tincture scalp scrub). There are several versions. I ordered the two star, and she sent me a free sample of the *** (three star). The three star is very stimulating. My head gets this warm, tingley feeling after I finish my moring scrub. I love it. When my hair gets kinky, it is hard to scrub (can't get my fingers through it). So, LML sent me a 5ml sample of a special scrub that she made for kinky hair (has more slip). I haven't tried it yet because I just relaxed...waiting to try it when I have new growth.
I only use her products now. I gave my Elucence, and Cathy Howse products away.

I am not suggusting that the system can be modified. It probably works better if u follow it tto the T. It is my ultimate goal to do this but right now I just find it hard to wash every day while transitioning. I am hoping to soon be able to follow the plan without any modifications. However that beng said, I still love the products and see a difference in my hair but I don't expect to get the full benefits until I follow the plan without modifications. Hope this helps.

I think that it works best when you follow the system. It basically deals with conducting a scalp scrub, spraying the scalp, washing and conditioning the hair and then adding some conditioner to retreat the ends. Doesn't really take that long each morning. The hair is totally manageable and soft after each wash. I am actually excited each time I wash because my hair just gets better and better with each shampoo.

Interesting, I've been corresponding with someone else who uses her system. They have seen the same good results. I wished that she [Louise Marie] could have responded personally to my questions in an email though because I wasn't able to call the number and speak with her over the phone. Shana, does the scalp tincture helps thinning edges? Also, you mentioned that used Cathy Howse products..right now that's the system I'm using...obviously it didn't work for you. The Louise Marie system does seem better. Once I was able to read through the site...I found the info. intriguing...I mean the products, the routine [even though I don't think the daily washing is for me, and her "philosophy" on hair so to speak. I still had more questions though...so far I got no response.

It wasn't that Cathy Howze's stuff didn't work. My hair just always seemed dry now matter how much oil I applied. So, it always looked greasy adn packed with gook. So, I felt like trying something new. My hair was very broken off (I was deployed and my hair did not thrive well in Iraq). So, I was ready for a chnage, that is all. I am suprised that LML did not write you back. She has been working on her web site lately so she has been working some long hours. She is normally very responsive and helpful. I did not think that I would be able to deal with the daily washes. Sadly enough, when I don't wash, my hair is screaming for a daily wash. Now, my hair seems to love water.

Can you tell me more about the scalp tincture you are using? Is it good for thin edges?

It appears to be good on everything. My edges broke off badly and they are starting to grow back nicely.

Thanks, for answering...I always try to read everything on the Louise Marie threads..so far I've only heard great reviews...I hope to try the products real soon.

You can't buy the scalp scrub separately. It is one of those items that you can only get if you are a magic pack member.

I have used her magic pack. I ordered it twice. It will give your hair a quick growth spurt, then it will level off to its formal growth rate. It is the fact that scalp opens up and is unclogged. I only use the number 2 and medic shampoos now. You can use Dudley scalp antiseptic (I think that is what it's called) in place of the scrub if need be. That's what I'm using now. I just apply it to my scalp, scrub in gently into my scalp and wait 15 minutes to a half hour and then go about my normal hair washing. You can even apply the antiseptic and leave in over night if you wish. It will unclog your pores and helps to fight dandruff.

I only use her number 2 and medic shampoos. These I use to clarify my hair every 4 to 6 weeks. One of the reasons her products work so well is that they do not build up in the hair like a lot of products do. But I found that even though I liked her products after a while my hair felt soft but not moisturized (I hope you know what I mean) so I started using other shampoos. First only natural shampoos like Aubrey organics and then others. I find that as long as I use her number 2 and medic shampoos to clarify my hair when needed, but doing a scalp scrub with Dudley's antiseptic my hair will continue to perform well. Her products are great but like I said after a while I found that I wanted more moisture throughout my hair. She suggested using the bliss tips for my ends, but I found my hair responds better to plain old olive/castor oil for moisturizing the ends.

Edie, can you tell me more about Dudley's antiseptic? Does it stimulate growth? Is it good for thin edges?

i looked at the site. are you guys using the magic kit or the other one? i'm confused, how much does it cost and how ong does it take to come. also, how long did it take for the growth spurt to come about?
