Are they? Wow, you taught me something new...I was always told that "spells" were witchcraft; closely linked to the devil and all things evil and UN-Godly
witchcraft is ungodly.
I don't think spells are the same thing as prayers but if someone wants to call them that fine. But I'm pretty sure if you are saying spells they aren't to God(Christian God) then
I don't think prayers are focused energy that sounds like a gnostic belief.
