Hair Comments Make You Seem Strange

Do people look at you weird when you give them comments? I was telling this guy that I liked his hair. He was like looking at me like I was weird. I also get excited when I see healthy hair. I always comment on what I think is nice, healthy hair.

I've never run into anyone like that, he sounds like a jerk! Everyone I compliment is flattered. I also notice hair more, now. Like if I see someone with bad split ends, I think to myself "wow,she needs to baggy!" or if I see someone with lots of new growth, I think "is she stretching or going natural?" It's crazy!

some ppl try to act like they dont care but they like being noticed. I think about that too when I see ppl hair. What they can do to help thier hair. Some ppl I do want to attack and just give advice. But I have to hold back. This past year I have seen guys with bsl hair more then ever. It depends on the person that you speak to because some will share advice and others will give you a crazy look

It could be because he's a man. They don't seem to care about hair one way or the other like we do, so to him it was weird.

I remember one time I went to a shop to get twist and this guy was in there with the the most beautiful set of twists and to him it was NOTHING. All the ladies were gawking and saying they wanted his hair and I think it made him uncomfortable LOL.

Just a thought....they need to stop getting our styles and this wouldn't happen to them.

Sometimes people don't know how to take compliments. I know that my FMIL comments me on my hair all the time and just say a quick thank you and move on. Maybe because she keeps saying that I have "good hair" and I never understood that.

He was probably caught off guard and most women probably don't take the time to compliment men on their hair.
