Loooool that's rude and not to mention inaccurate. As stated in many posts already your hair looks healthy, I don't get why someone would do that and even IF it did look thirsty they could have posted products that would help not a statement intended to hurt

I am just like you...amazed by the fact that some people will write anything and seem to have no clue about potential effects on others. If I am in question about what I am about to write, I leave it off and write nothing. When I do find that I have made a mistake, I apologize. How can that be so difficult to do if you have hurt or offended someone - intentionally or accidentally?

Um..ok..this is the first negative comment that I've received on fotki. I thought about keeping it, but decided against it. I wasn't even going to post this, but then I decided to address it.erplexed

I just wanted to clarify for whoever saw the need to anonymously leave the comment. I'm natural. At the time the picture was taken, my stylist had just chopped 3-6" of my hair to end my transition, and I didn't have any split/damaged ends.

My hair is very healthy. Some of you may already know that I'm always struggling with the way my hair 'appears'. Even when it's very moisturized, it still looks dry. I also seem to have a problem with my ends. I'm constantly S&Ding to get rid of split ends even though I hardly use heat. I've noticed that as a natural even right after my hair was cut it looked great curly. I don't know if it's the number of knots or whatever, but as soon as I straighten my hair, my ends don't look great.

I don't mind constructive comments because I'm very open to finding better ways to care for my hair. When people leave snide comments, it doesn't help anyone, so what's the point?
