Yes, tree braids can be done with human hair, they do charge more but a lot of people do choose to go the human hair route.

My cheap self wants these braids

But of course, I'll let y'all know... The bottom is fuller than the top. That's the problem. I sure hopes she'll redo them. I've even posted her info here, making me out to be a liar! And I will show her the pics of the smaller. Hell, it's only 2.5 hrs... sure hope she watches AI!

Pitt Girl: I wanna say 4? I saw her pulling the hair out of this big box of hair she has - in packs, of course.

LSW: So I see... she did lovely micros.. but I didn't take pics:perplexed . If I do have some, they are close to the time they needed to be evacuated from my head!:lachen:

Mon dieu!

I want them this small, but start the hair earlier. And my back to be all covered. Nah! Or else she's gonna get this up her head! :fishslap: :flyingwit :babyg:

Next time ask for the brand of hair and how many packs. It might be cheaper to buy the hair yourself or if you really like this hair you will know where to buy it if you don't use her anymore.

Synthetic hair is very cheap, when I got my tree braids done, it only cost like $2.00 or $3.00 a bag and I think they only used three or four bags. The hair I used was called body wave swith hair and I was able to wash it.

So now I'm ticked!

I'm @ work waiting to drive up 85 to meet this heifer. She can't do it today and wants me to come Thursday. I can't do that. I have appointments. So, now I have to wait til I come back!!!

BUT WAIT! She's not redoing it! No!!! She'll redo some, but not all. She said my cornrows are close together, except the sides where I'm thin. She said had she made them thinner, my hair would break!

She said it took her 4 hrs. I told her that's a lie. She started at 6:05pm. I was home by 9 - and that's 20+ minutes travel time AND her pausing for 15 minutes!

I guess it is like DSD sid, just b/c you can braid, don't mean you can tree braid. SOmeone else - lsw (?) said that as well.

So, I take back my dang recommendation.

My sis said if I combed the hair right, they don't show. Now, she did do it fast and I didn't see it. She said I'm making a mountain out of a molehill and that it's cute. So says my cowrkers (and they've seen me get braids that were jacked up!)

Such is the way my like goes!

I see your pics but can someone explain to me exactly what tree braids are? I cant make it out from the pics. Thankx in advance:)

I'm sorry, but that's pure and total BS. They are supposed to be thin, and doing so would not cause your hair to break.

Tree braids are done in such a manner that all of the wearer's hair is braided, with random strands pulled out of the braid, resulting in a full, loose hairstyle. The braids are supposed to be barely detectable. In fact, the only braids that should be at all visible are those at the hairline, as shown in picture #2 posted above.
