I really really want to try Anita Grant's products, especially the Rhassoul mud conditioner. I also plan on trying Karen Body Beautiful and My Honey Child products. A few more Oyin products. A soft bonnet dryer. I can't decide between the FHI Runway or the Sedu. I only plan to flatiron my hair four times next year (bootcamp participant) so it's not a high priority item.

I will buy a hard bonnet dryer (is soft better??).

And re-stock my usual stuff (Oyin, Kinky Curly) and try a couple new things like Hairveda, etc.

The only new products I will buy/try in 2009 are

1. Qhemet Amla & Olive Heavy Cream, and the Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm. (I'm still trying to find the perfect moisturizer for when I wear my hair down)

2. Pibbs 514

Table top hair steamer from here:
http://www.hairgift.com/hair-steamer.html
It's 139.95 and the shipping is free.

It's 119.99 on Amazon and the shipping charges are 29.99 making it 10.00 higher than the Hair only site.

Also I want to try Elucence Moisture Balance conditioner
My staples and adding to my homemade butters.

Just plan on keeping my staples in stock, including Affirm Positive Link, Motions CPR, Hydratherma Naturals, OCT, Megatek, JMRB, Essential Balms Shea hair and scalp butter, and PM Supercharged. :yep:

How did you find out that your shea butter was fake? I have heard several people say this. Was it yellow? Where are you ordering from now?

I am not planning on buying anything in 2009 (well for the first few months that is)!

There I typed it! Now I can believe it......lol!

I'm not big on making lists so whatever tickles my PJ bone is what I'll purchase. Sad part is, dang near everything that's been listed (that piqued my interest) I currently have or had at some point :look: Just keep your eyes open ;)

1.Salerm wheat germ

2.Aubreys Organic HoneySuckle rose

3.OCT when my mega tek is finished

4.Always Indian Hemp because I need a heavy lubricant when using mega tek and wet bunning

5. Silk Amino acids,Glycerin,Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, wheat germ oil, herbs like horestail, hops and peppermint essential oil to make my own deep conditioner and add to products

7. satin bonnet

8. I may buy one bottle of Deva Curl Angell

Things I wont buy again

Deva Curl no poo and one condition (ending my 2 year love affair because products price has increased from $13 to $18 a bottle each. It's only good for wash and goes. I may purchase the angell or I'll find a better natural line of light conditioner and gel for summer wash and goes.

aubrey's swimmers poo and conditioner
maybe gpb or blue algae mask
several bottles of honeysuckle rose
hairveda stirinillah (the 32 oz)
'' the methi savi tea protein set
the almond glaze
the hair mist thing
ava soya oil and cocosta oil
hopefully a pibbs late in 2009
bigger rollers because the grey ones just take too long to dry now.

Oyinhandmade.com has a great conditioner...Honey Hemp...I love it and the only reason I don't buy it anymore is because I don't like having to order stuff. They also have a gel called Shine&Define but I've never used it.

I would like to buy a new flat iron...ima do some research on that FHI and CHI..I have the Maxi glide but its bulky...time to move on..
